Pityriasis alba
It is a common symptomatic hypopigmentation of the face, neck and body. Hypopigmented
areas gradually disappear with age. These areas may be larger than 30mm. It
is commonly seen in face specially preauricular area of cheeks, around eyes
and mouth. The important differential diagnosis is vitiligo and tinea versicolor.
Treatment is unnecessary; in severe cases topical steroids can be used.
