Renal Agenesis :
Bilateral agenesis is not compatible with post natal life. Potter phenotype
is the presentation in newborn with the typical facial abnormality. Unilateral
agenesis is often diagnosed during the course of investigation. All newborn
with single umbilical artery should be suspected for renal agenesis. The contralateral
kidney goes into compensatory hypertrophy. Most cases are often associated with
other anamolies. Children are at risk of hypertension and proteinuria. These
IVP and isotopic renogram was from a boy who presented with persistent hypertension.
